Introduction

Heyy
It's me... Salimah!
I know I told you guys that I wouldn't keep a blog but Sabrina's was so entertaining, I couldn't resist.
There are no promises here that I will keep it up to date since I am not clear on how often I'll be able to access the internet or actually have time to write, but I will try my best!
The summer has already started and a couple of things have already happened including:

-I passed 3rd year! I did decently, (came out alive even with 6 courses!) AND I get to keep my scholarship so I'm satisfied :)

-The HGW girls finally had a party! Even though it was the last night living in their house (with which we have so many memories) it was one of the best! We even reached the brink of normality but we didn't overdo it! They are the greatest hosts and I hope, since we will all be living in areas closer together, we'll still find a way to hang out!

-Sportsfest was awesome because:

• Living with FatiMerch and Shazeen was amazing! I found that I can actually co-exist with people in close proximity. They were really good at giving me my space and I had so much fun because they are such wonderful, special people.
• I got to know some people who used to be just general acquaintances a lot better and really liking them! (Some a little too much if you know what I mean ;) ) The downside here is that it is getting more and more difficult to hate everyone so that I can become a bitter hermit cat lady.
• WE WON GOLD FOR DODGEBALL! and I'm not going to lie, I believe I deserve a good portion of the credit... I wish it was a real sport because I love it, I understand the strategies and I'm actually not too shabby at the sport itself!

-Being home has been fun because I've been keeping myself super busy. Along with the quick run back to the Hammer because I forgot my camera battery charger, I've been practicing driving, getting electrolyzed (so I don't turn into a yeti this summer), and meeting up with friends (you guys are awesome... you all know who you are... because you're reading this!) AND seeing Aleena and Nawied

So it's only May 10th and so much has happened already! I've been enjoying even more small personal victories which are difficult to describe in writing but the general message is Life is Gooooooooooood.

Here are the rest of the things for me to look forward to this summer:
-Driving test on TUESDAY the 12th (they say 3rd times the charm, but I am not so sure...)
-Zoo with Melissa (hopefully!)
-Aliya coming for the weekend!
-Leaving for BC on Sunday the 17th (I kept thinking it was the 16th)
-EVERYTHING that happens in BC! (all the workshops, the people, the camping, the intense emotional and spiritual epiphanies...woot! :P )
-Coming back to Toronto for about 24 hours on June 27th
-Leaving fo Trois-Rivieres, Quebec on June 28th
-The Explore program and becoming a Frenchie
-Coming back on July 31st (Happy Birthday Judy!)
-Maybe getting a job at The Ex, bumming around, seeing everyone again OR being a completely changed person and doing random shit like levitating or setting things on fire or whatever stuff changed people do.

I sound busy don't I? I have a feeling everything will fall through though. Or nothing will happen. Or something I don't expect and maybe won't like. But I'm expecting something I won't expect to happen so what kind of expectation is that?
